LENA BEJAN
Writer/Producer
Lena Bejan is a Romanian actress based in the United Kingdom and is known for playing the role of a Spanish lady in “Simulacra” (released in 2022), a Sci-Fi drama set in Asia. Lena also starred in a documentary called “Matrix Isolation” made during the pandemic (Released in 2020).
Lena is extremely cultured and has travelled the world. She is an actress/writer/producer who is clear about the direction she wants to take and the people she wants to work with. She is a very determined individual who is a rising star. Lena will also be playing a role in Monica.
She is also a creative writer and producer and has written and is currently producing a feature-length drama based on a true story that occurred in her own village in Romania. Lena feels it is necessary to tell the world this story to help others not only relate to the incidents in this story, but to also be encouraged to share their own experiences and know that someone is there to listen to and support them.
Violence prevails in practically every house in this village, where women are raped and beaten by alcoholic husbands, leaving them too terrified and humiliated to speak up. Lena Bejan is intent on giving voice to the many women who are victims of domestic abuse and are frightened to speak up; all she wants is to inspire women to be strong, to have their own voice, and to know that they are not alone.
AJAY NEHRA
Producer
Ajay Nehra started his film career in 1992 as an investor in short films and documentaries. In 2003 Ajay invested in the film Bend It Like Beckham, which went on to become a global success.
After a number of years as Chairman at the London-based theatre company Rifco Arts, Ajay became involved as a Producer/Executive Producer, encouraging others to jointly invest in projects with new and up-and-coming filmmakers.
He is known for Pursue the Greater Cause: The Story of Koroibos and Japanese films, My Name is Lucien, and A Disease Called Family.
Ajay Nehra has continued to embark on his journey through his TV and Production company “AJAMAX productions” supporting projects including Monica, when fear kills… and Iron Sultan. Ajay Nehra has contributed to multiple projects through script enhancements, business planning, all stages of the production process, and investor relations.
GEORGE BURCEA
Role of Detective Christian Bacu
George Burcea is a Romanian film and theatre actor. He graduated from the I. L. Caragiale National University of Theatre and Film in Bucharest. Before studying acting, he was a sailor. George Burcea plays Lurch in the TV series, Wednesday by Tim Burton.
He will play the character of Detective Christian Bacu, a young and handsome man, charismatic, brave and ambitious, who fights against corruption, he likes challenges and hates injustice but most of all he despises corruption.
RAY ELLINGSEN
Writer/Producer
Ray Ellingsen began his film career in 1987 as a writer. He has since gone on to pursue numerous aspects of filmmaking, from directing and producing, to supervising post production of feature films, documentaries, and commercials. In 1999, Ellingsen helped form the motion picture entertainment company, Ugly Old Bird Productions, which produced multiple film and video projects during its five years of doing business.
Ellingsen moved to Arizona in 2005 to manage the largest motion picture film studio in the state of Arizona, Hollywood-Phoenix Film Studios. Within a year, Ellingsen brought in three feature films, numerous commercials, as well as a television series for the studio to produce. Ellingsen left the studio and moved back to Los Angeles to further his filmmaking career.
To date, Ellingsen has written and directed two documentaries and a feature film, along with a multitude of commercial, instructional and industrial projects. He has also produced nine feature films and over 30 video and commercial projects, with two feature films currently in development.
